Tempesta Escudo is an enterprise version of Tempesta FW that includes:

• Tempesta FW – an open-source web accelerator and L7 firewall that blocks web attacks and application-layer DDoS attacks
• Tempesta xFW – an XDP-based module for volumetric DDoS protection, mitigating TCP, ICMP, and UDP floods, as well as DNS amplification and reflection attacks and more
• Tempesta WebShield – an open-source bot protection system that is also effective against sophisticated application-layer DDoS attacks
• A scalable management API that enables efficient management of clusters consisting of thousands of nodes, using the management daemon configured via a CLI tool or a client library
• A troubleshooting solution for automatic incident reporting to the Tempesta Technologies support team
